My review is about the Starbucks Bashas has located in their store. Since one can purchase store items at the Starbucks, the review of the Starbucks would be just the same as the deli or bakery as a Basha's product/ service.
I purchased a grande gingerbread latte there, the total came out to over $5.00. When I arrived at work to drink my beverage, I opened it to find the cup was 2/3 full (or 1/3 empty to the glass half empty people out there). The person who made it did not appear to be new as she referenced to another customer about getting "the usual". Not sure what the "usual" would be. Probably not a tall latte in a grande cup for the grande price.
Clearly this location makes hundreds of drinks a day. They know exactly how much to put in to fill the different sizes. It would appear they are trying to short their customers to improve their margins. The only upside here is while I ordered and paid for a grande and only received a tall serving in a grande cup, I only had the calories of a tall. Other than that, I will never allow these people to rip me off again. Way to go Bashas, you shorted the coffee to make an extra .25 cents of margin at the expense of a customer never purchasing from your coffee counter again. Smart business guys.
