  • I have always had a great experience in the Charlotte USO until today. I'm a retired service member of 24 years, traveling with a wounded warrior (disfigured) off of a wellness trip, and I was told by one member that I was allowed to sign my travel companion in as a guest, and a second volunteer continued to harass him for an ID, when he produced his VA ID, he was told he wasn't allowed?????? WTF? What a complete disgrace, this Purple Heart recipient was turned away as my guest for what? Stupid, and a direct reflection of our current administration.
