  • I finally visited Levant after walking past it on the way to work for the past year it seems. What a great spot! I got a veggie plate with four items... all of them were outstanding. Creamy, flavorful hummus. Garlicy potatoes, falafel with lots of green stuff in it which is just how I like it. And what is it about a turkish style dill pickle? I have no idea why they are so amazing, but they are. Just the right amount of garlic and dill, and crunch, and so thin. The service was outstanding. The server was attentive without being too much. My only complaint about the service (and the justification for four stars instead of five) was the hostess who seated us was wearing so much perfume I thought I was going to gag, and was standing right outside the front door smoking when we left, which is something I've always thought was a bit tacky. My friend and I have decided we're going back next week. Since it took us a year to try it, we have a lot of time to make up for!
