Whenever we, as in the whole family, crave for Porto's cheese rolls, one must drive 400+ miles to LA to get 3 dozens. But since Chef Zen has opened, we just come here and buy from them. They make the same cheese rolls and then some.
I came here one day because I was craving for some 'SILOG' and instead of going to overpriced and under-portioned Jollibee I just decided to try Chef Zen.
... The rice is really good! It's not just the plain old garlic rice. It's very tasty and very home-made.
... The Tocino was a good portion and so is the Egg. I honestly didn't even eat the whole thing. I had to take it home with me because the serving was really big.
... Also, Chef Zen herself was there and she was very accommodating. She gave me free coffee while she chatted with my mom.
... Also, don't forget her Empanadas!! It's DELICIOUS! I like the ground beef best, better than the adobo chicken ;)
