rev:text	I brought my 62 year old husband to the ER for abdominal pain that had been going on for over 10 days. Intake was fast. The nurse came in quickly. She took his blood pressure and pulse. He tells her that his pain level is a 7. She did not take his temperature. She asked him to leave a urine specimen IF he needed to use the restroom. She asked his current medications and if he was allergic to anything. She asked him to point to where the pain was. That's it. No real medical history and my husband is a cancer patient. He did leave a urine specimen. We waited in the treatment room over an hour with nobody ever checking on him. A man came in wearing scrubs. No introduction. We assume he is the doctor. My husband gave him the history that he had a CT scan with barium contrast 12 days ago and had been having cyclic abdominal pain since then that feels like constipation. No physical exam. No x-ray. We were told to get two bottles of magnesium citrate, follow the directions and come back if the pain does not resolve. Thankfully, the treatment worked, but there is no way I would have returned there.
