I had no idea this winery (and art gallery) existed within a very short drive of my own backyard. Just opposite Blossom Music Center, it is a major change of pace from the usual restaurant experience. Situated in a renovated 19th century farmhouse in the Cuyahoga Valley, it's got a decent menu and a very pleasant patio overlooking the vineyard. Today, which was an unseasonably beautiful warm day for November, we took our places outside and had a relaxing time. Sarah's was established as part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park's Countryside Initiative to encourage sustainable farming. They make their own wine - I had a very acceptable red table wine made from Chambourcin grapes blended with Merlot, and another grape they deem "secret," from the vineyard. Meant to ask why it was a secret, but forgot. Also, you can have a healthy taste of any wine before you select it for 50 cents a pop. Cheese plate was jam packed with good stuff, including Greek olives. Cobb salad was better than what you usually get although the avocados were not the creamy kind so I found them inedible. Didn't spend too much time inside, so I will defer comment on that for now. Certainly would go back here for a change of pace.
