  • I've lived in Silver Shadows for 3yrs now. Since the new management I have been waiting for improvements. No luck. They no longer have maintenance in the weekends and maintenance tickets take weeks to complete. I've had constant plumbing issues and when called about a toilet issue waited 5 days. The pool is consistently dirty especially on the weekends when you would want to use it due to no maintenance staff. Fourth of July weekend it was green. If you ask to speak to the manager 9 time out of 10 she'll be busy and you won't get calls returned. Assistant manager seems incapable and forgetful. Forgets when you call about something, forgets to call back when you ask for information, forgets to put in maintenance tickets. Needless to say, even though moving is a pain I will NOT be renewing. Janice, after reading your response I suggest you take a more involved approach. The tickets were obviously "edited" or not put in the system until completed. There was a ticket that was put in 3 weeks ago regarding my closet doors and screens, I had to call back 2 weeks after the initial ticket and then was completed 48hrs later. Regarding the toilet, it was placed on a Friday afternoon, I was told at the time there would be no one there on the weekend and would have to wait till Monday. I called on Monday it was not completed till Tuesday afternoon. Either you have no idea what actually goes on or you look the other way when your team "edits" records. Either way, poor management.
