We really like Dr P when we had our initial interview appointment with her! We immediately decided to have her take care of our first newborn baby. However, on the first day home from the hospital, we had an unfortunate incident that our cat attacked our baby's scalp !!! His head has open wound and was bleeding!!! We called the office immediately and I was literally begging them to take a look of my baby's wound before his first appointment, which is the next day. The receptionist told me to put Neosporin on the scalp ..which is what we did. Then she said "we wouldn't do anything different if you come in today " "just wait until the morning" Really ? I was literally crying on the phone and helpless on how to take care of our baby. NO they still won't see us at alll. We called another office and this office wanted us to bring the baby in immediately for cleaning the wounds and prescribed antibiotics ointment for possible infection.... !! (I'm forever grateful to this another office for their immediate attention) anyways, This incident pretty much allowed me to learn that I can't count on Dr. P 's ffice to take care of my baby , especially in a case of emergency. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE TO ANYONE.
