This is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. It has the coolest patio with lots of plants, Bocci ball and tons of outdoor seating, plus it is dog friendly. They have food for free at happy hour and all sorts of interesting margarita options... My favorite is mango. Of course, it is also a restaurant and not just a bar.
I have to admit that the food is not the best Mexican food out there. Some of it is pretty good though. I like their fajitas, beef chingalingas, shrimp tacos and green corn tamales. Their real claim to fame is their chips. They bring a huge basket of both corn and flour chips... The flour chips are not like any other chips I've had anywhere else--they are thick and soft and crisp all at the same time... their mild chunky salsa is also really good. But, I have been thoroughly repulsed by their fish tacos which were soft and squishy and weird.
Overall, I like it here and come back often, though now that I have found items I like, I rarely try new things. This is the place to be on a Friday night and I highly suggest you come for happy hour.
