  • One of the worst airports in America. Not only can you not get in and out of this airport without walking through a giant cloud of cigarette smoke and smelling like it the rest of the day, but the airport is way too small to handle the traffic inside and out. TSA checkpoints are not set up in a common sense way at all, and they never open all lanes, even in peek times. There is no priority boarding lanes for any airlines, no Clear lanes, nothing but TSA pre-check. American's monopoly on this airport has caused this airport to be one of the most unpleasant experiences for travelers and makes me regret moving to Charlotte.
