  • Ok...so I have to tell a story.....I purchased 30lbs of ground meat sale. I left it all in the refrigerator. Well, It all went bad and turned brown. I called and told the manager my story. the manager then explained to me how if you purchase meat from a non butcher store meat they use a gas to preserve the meat because it is shipped in, Although not harmful gas. Meat FRESHLY cut daily in stores must be used that day or froze the next day. He had the butcher specially ground and package the replacement ground meat for me to pick up today at a discounted price. I walked up two aisles with the manager. Every customer knew his name and asked how he and his family was. The check out cashier told me a story about her first day as an employee of the store. She was on the floor looking for a bar code......not sure of what she was doing the MANAGER GOT ON THE FLOOR with her and helped her find what she needed. He is an old school one of a kind genuine good hearted person. The store also helps local community organizations to give back. Hence, Shop N Save On Brownsville Road in Carrick is a community store worth shopping at. Moral of the story: There are still good people in this world that do daily unacknowledged blessings/tasks. Also, Use or freeze fresh purchased meat within a day of purchase. Thank You Jesus!
