  • DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE!!!! They are committing insurance fraud!!! Extremely long story short, my son went in to get Accutane (acne medicine) from Steven Hawks who he had seen numerous times. Kept telling him he could get the prescription for $50 co pay. It was $400 anyway, I got new insurance , which would now be a $75 copay, so he made the appointment to get the script. Steven walks into the room and says he can't give him the Accutane because he is leaving the practice. He walks out and was told to make an appointment with another doctor in the practice who could give him the script. I called the office that same day to tell them I was pissed they didn't call to cancel the appointment, that my son wasted his time going. They knew his appointment sole purpose was for the accutane and didn't reschedule him with another doctor. I was told by Carla he would not have to pay for the visit. Low and behold, I was billed. I called the highest supervisor, David in billing and was told I didn't have to pay, it was taken care of. I got another bill. This time David tells me he doesn't have any notes in my chart and I am responsible for paying. So let me get this straight.... my son went in to get a prescription, he didn't get it because the doctor is leaving the practice, but I have to pay for something I didn't get???? No good bunch of greedy aholes!!!!
