| - Lots of info on labor day weekend, brace yourself.
Ive been here b4, but never stayed overnight,until now. Play by play:
Check-in: Arrived sunday sept 4th at 10am, snagged a room. I ve seen the rooms b4, rivals best rooms in vegas. Dual sinks, in room tiny ass safe, soft bed, clean and comfy, roomy standard room. Rooms are very nice. They charge 28.00 bullshit resort fee if you aint comped.
Pool: Tons of kids, not much of a "cool" crowd. Kids outnumber adults 3 to 1. Blackjack tables with automated shufflers nearby (no thanks).
Pool is nice with fountain but too small. Great thing is, the seats sunken in the poolside, with soft layer padding. Even round tanning beds if u can find one (shaded ones not free, unshaded free) A few smaller pools that you can monopolize if u get there early. We arrived at 11am and still found plenty of seats in prime locations. Never feels overcrowded even this weekend, but be prepared to be splashed all over with kids running around with no regards for you or anyone else (same with their parents.)
Music cannot be better, awesome mix of hip-hop and dance, couldnt get enough of the music. (But wrong crowd)
Either tattoos to the max-style bodies or kids, very diverse crowd.
Pool food: Great BBQ burger, horrific shrimp salad that was disgustingly soggy, ridiculously spicy. I sent it back after finishing burger, manager has the balls to say "You made it got soggy by not reporting it fast in the sun. Asshole. Sorry if I wanted to finish my burger first. instead of apologizing wouldnt even give me a refund. I was gonna raise hell, but Mary the waitress said she can get a couple beers. I said fine, but I am gonna complain about their lack of morals here. (Front desk, see you tuesday). DO NOT eat shrimp salad. Burger is 14 bucks, I ordered 2 non alcoholic berry lemonade inside pineapple drinks which were great, but $20 bucks each!
I looked at my bill couldnt believe a non alcoholic lemonade was TWENTY DOLLARS EACH! It was over 60% of the bill! Thats sick, even though its vegas. and they auto-slap 18% gratuity. Not cheap, not good, except for the burger. Service cold and spotty as well. And their beers are barely cold, which zap up in 5 minutes unless you chug that shit.
Wifey craved ice cream, went inside to THEIR food court, paid 10 bucks for that and water in THEIR CASINO and the dick at the pool wouldnt let me take it to her. I said let me at least go and tell her she cant eat at pool so she could come out of pool area to finish the dripping ice cream, no.
It was a very trying experience with most of the staff in the pool area in general. They all act like you owe them something, and that our business is their right and our privelege. They should be honored anyone ventures this far off the strip and spends money here.
CASINO/AREA: Very roomy, nice, spacious casino with food court, bowling alley, movie theatre, sportsbook. Have several double deck BJ tables, all of them hit soft 17, even the high limit rooms (used to be stand) fuckers. Every last penny they give u no chance.
Shuttle to strip is nice every 2 hours, drops your ass off near T.I. (free)
Besides hundreds of horndogs, and a few older perves with fixated looks at the wifey, and a few c-notes dropped at 21 tables, survived labor day.
