  • I'll be straight with it: this place is really good. I had the large pho dac biet (house special pho - like I always do) and goi cuon (shrimp salad roll). The pho broth was a tad on the lighter side but very flavourful and the noodles are the smooth, 'fresh' type -- I'm used to the 'chewier', 'chalky' standard noodles -- but this was still very good. The goi cuon is one of the better ones I've had. And as expected, it was really cheap and the portions were big. They had some interesting specials on the board and I was pleasantly surprised they offered bun bo hue on the weekends. But I went with my standard litmus test and I was there on a weekday. Will be back to try this BBH -- that will really make or break the place for me. But for now, a solid pho broth good enough for 4-stars.
