After a cold turned into a wheeze turned into not being able to walk up half a flight of stairs without needing my asthma inhaler I decided to give Las Vegas Immediate Care a try. I checked out the reviews on here and made the leap--or drive.
Soooo glad I did. I was seen within 15 minutes, (and there were 2 people in front of me!), did a brief interview/blood pressure check that you usually get at the doctor and before long saw the doc hherself who prescribed a course of antibiotics and steroids to help with my respiratory infection. I was in and out in 30 minutes. More importantly, I recovered nicely.
Why do I like it so much? Upon entering the office I was pleased to see that it was bright, clean, and I was greeted immediately by the receptionist. Before I was done filling out my forms, a physician's assistant (Anissa) invited me into an exam room to get more details about my visit. I never felt rushed and she took down every detail about my symptoms for the doctor to review. Anissa let me know where I was in the queue and then led me to another exam room to await the doctor.
Dr. Carullo knocked on the exam room door before entering and introduced herself with a big friendly smile. She listened to all the details of my symptoms leading up to my arrival at the office and she took her time explaining the details of the course of treatment she prescribed.
Upon leaving the office, I felt informed about my condition, confident with the diagnosis provided, and encouraged about the outlook of my health. Walk in clinics can be hit or miss, and this one is a definite hit. Especially because you actually get to see a doctor instead a nurse practioner or assistant!
I went back today for another visit...these guys are still awesome!
