  • - Amazing coffee - Relaxed and laid back environment - Food options + pizza - Booths as well as stools that face out toward huge windows - Plenty of outlets for chargers - Stellar name for a business If I had to name a place where I have had my best cup of coffee, it would be Flying Machine. As for the environment itself: it is minimalist yet welcoming, casual, and personally, it has always been motivating for me to complete work. As a student, I would often spend the weeks before finals at Flying Machine, sipping coffee while sitting in front of the sprawling glass windows with my laptop, textbooks, and notes resting on the counter before me. Flying Machine Coffee harbors a sense of nostalgia, where the scent of coffee once mingled with my hurried efforts to finish essays on time and study for exams while still finding those sweet (though all too short) moments in between for enjoying another sip of coffee, a wistful glance out the window, or a step outside in the cool Urbana air.
