  • This LCBO is located next to Forever XXI on Dundas. I would say that the Bay St address is a bit misleading in terms of the actual location. I was actually trying to find The Beer Store (express) that's located near the corner of Yonge and Dundas, but couldn't see it when I was standing in that intersection. This Yonge and Dundas intersection reminds me of Time Square since it's well lit and loaded with large lighted advertisements. The LCBO sign was easy to see, so I went here instead of the elusive Beer Store. After entering the LCBO doors, you have to take the escalator down a level to get to the actual goods. I came looking for wine and found a nice selection here. They are categorized by regions, so it's easy to browse. I ended up with a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon called Janeil for $12. It's a decent bottle of wine, a little lighter than my preference, but still good. It was a screw top, which is a bonus for me since I'm a visitor and am not equipped with a wine opener. There were about 3 cashiers working and I had to wait a few minutes in line, but got through checkout pretty quickly. After exiting the store, you'll have to go right and find an escalator to go back up to the street level.
