| - I think this is the only Ramen restaurant on the East side of Las Vegas. Fortunately for the east siders (like me) this place is great.
I've been to plenty of other Ramen places on the west side and California, and I can tell you Fukumimi is one of the best so have ever been to for the price. A party of two will struggle to get a bill over $30 here. This is one of my favorite places to eat when I'm watching my wallet.
They have appetizers that range from $2 to $5 (that's really the most expensive, $5...). They make their on Kimchi and I love the Kimchi tofu, which is only $4. I also love their house salad, which is nothing more than greens with their house ginger dressing. My wife has to get it every time, as it is a simple and delicious salad for only $2.
They also have rice bowls, which are their only other entree options besides the Ramen bowls. We've had a few of them before and they are good, though they don't blow me away. The curry bowl is my favorite, though I have had better Japanese curry. None of the bowls will probably disappoint you, but I would stick to the Ramen.
The Ramen ranges in price from $7 to $9, which are pretty decent prices given the portion size. They have all the typical tonkotsu Ramens as well as chicken Ramen. They also have Tantan Men, which is a spicy peanutty broth with ground pork. Not every Ramen spot had this dish, but it is well worth trying if the description above sounds good to you. The Tantan Men is my favorite and seems to be very popular here. They also offer quite a few extras like extra meat, noodles or veggies (see the menu, I took a pic).
Oh, and they have $2 dollar Miller lights! And that's not just a happy hour special that's all the time. Most bars in town don't sell domestic beer that cheap. Though don't get me wrong, this isn't really a drinking spot. They only have a few beers and nothing stinger. Though it is a bargain price for a beer at a restaurant.
Not much in the way of dessert here. Though there is a Baskin Robins next door.
Where else can you go, get two beers, a salad, an appetizer and two entries for $26. That was our last bill here, and we were stuffed with delicious food. If you want to eat well on the cheap, this place is a gem.
