This is a review for the Ann Rd location. (They don't have their own Yelp page.) My true rating is a 4.5.
Having previous boxing experience I already had an idea of what I was getting into. The class was a tough and sweaty workout. Lots of cardio warm-up and lots of bag punching (never sparring.) The instructors are really good at hyping up the class and are invested in pushing you harder. Workout is straight forward so it's not hard to join in as a newbie. If you've never boxed, the instructor shows you the basic moves before class starts.
I think it's really awesome that they include gloves with class purchase. Using a gnarly loaner set is never fun, and your hands end up smelling like funk and pee pee for the rest of the day. There are NO walk ins. All classes have to be scheduled prior to the start time. My biggest complaint would be that there is no online option to reserve a class. Only call in or in person. I read other complaints that the instructors are too aggressive when trying to sell you a membership, but I didn't have that issue. They asked if I was interested, I said no, and that was it.
