rev:text	I enrolled my boyfriend in their 20 hour mortgage course ($299) as a surprise gift because he had mentioned it was something he'd like to do. But it turned out the dates weren't going to work for him. Also apparently the state of Nevada looks at your credit when making a licensing decision, he's concerned he may be turned down and wanted to research the requirements before committing to the school. So within 24 hours of enrolling him in the course I contacted the school to find out how to get a refund. They told me I had to fill out a withdrawal form and either fax or bring it in, and that I'd have to bring the books in before I could request a refund. I was shocked because I didn't have any books and yet they claimed they shipped them out to me the day I had paid for the course. So I waited for the books to arrive, I printed the form and I drove 30 mins. away to deliver them in person. I had no problem getting the form signed by a staff member right away but after she signed the form she began questioning me about the withdrawal, at one point she even seemed like she was going to deny me for my reason. She got attitude and asked if I had spoken to anyone at the school because they "could give me the information I need to determine if he'd be approved for a license". I really just didn't like getting 20 questions. She finally made me a copy of the signed form and told me they had 15 days to refund me but that they would be keeping a 10% fee. I'm annoyed because It had been less than 24 hours between when I paid and when I requested a refund, oh well... live and learn. I have yet to be refunded we'll see how long it takes to get my money.
