| - I hit the vintage jack pot when I came to 'Fashion By Robert Black" (FBRB). The elegance and the ambiance of this shop/boutique truly is representative of the vintage clothes in this shop. I left 'Vintage By Misty's' empty handed but here, I knew my vintage outfit was awaiting my arrival. My sister was just as excited about the clothes and she was going down memory lane as she picked dresses off the rack and recalling what our mom and her sisters wore similar. I had to do a double take and said "uh where are those dresses now, cause I want every piece." So I tried on a few pieces and was beginning to get nervous in a discouraging way. Trying on a few dresses, the dress was either tight in one place and loose fitting in another....I couldn't win. And then I pointed out to the assocate the dress displayed in the window; I kindly asked the associate if I may try it on. Wa Laaaaaaaaa....the Vintage Goddess smiled on me and that dress adorned my body perfertly...it was a "Vera." And if you're familiar with "Vera," you know it's colorful, well made, cotten or linen and oh so retro/chic and stylish. I smiled; my sister smiled; the associate smiled; I found my prize vintage dress. The vintage clothes FBRB are beautiful and the styles range from casual to elegant chic. For you men, well I saw a small rack that had jackets and blazers, but a really nice mixture of colors so don't feel left out check it out. When I return to AZ, I will to seek out more vintage shops but because I was there for a family reunion (which was a blast by the way), I didn't want to stray away too much cause I was there for a well-planned family reunion that was long over due. But as I said, when I return the next time it's all about me and the vintage yall. It's on.
