  • There are only two things you need to know about The South African Store. 1. They have a cooler full of biltong from Florence Meats in Oakville. 2. They have a cooler full of boerwors sausage from Florence Meats in Oakville. The end. Everything else about the shop is totally irrelevant and you have all of the reasons you need to go here. (Joking aside, this place might just be surviving on being, perhaps, the only Toronto source of good (really good) boerwors sausage. The rest of the South African wares (piri piri sauce from Nandos included) are lovely, I'm sure, but do yourself a favour and try some of this extraordinary fennel/corriander sausage on the bbq this weekend. No lies.
