Whoa! This place takes breakfast and goes to town with it. Awesome old school diner in Pittsburgh's Strip District. You walk inside and its like stepping back into the 1950s. Personable waitresses abound there to greet you. You can sit at the old fashioned counter or grab a booth. They have a pretty elaborate menu that offers breakfast and lunch but the breakfast is what you're here for. I ordered the Bionic Omelette not really realizing what I was getting myself into. This thing was mammoth and has practically everything in it you would eat for breakfast. Bacon, fresh sausage, onions, hash browns and more! After this meal I ate nothing else for the whole day. I was eating off of this thing for three days and believe me when I say I have a big appetite so that tells you how big it is. The coolest thing about eating here was watching the guy behind the counter cook the meal on the big fryer like someone cooking a homemade breakfast at home in their kitchen. Food comes out pretty fast and prices are okay. The bionic omelette was $13 and like I said it fed me for a few days. You can't miss this place if you're looking for it because its the place with the giant rooster on the roof. Also, theres a booth here marked where Tom Cruise sat during filming the movie Jack Reacher.
