| - Ever wonder why a place that doesn't have seafood has a warning that the food served may contain shellfish products? I do! Just a question to ponder while you what in a long line for a juicy burger at this no-frills eatery. We showed up on a beautiful Friday, so of course there was a mad rush. Unfortunately, there was no free parking available, so I paid for parking across the street at the ASU lot.
After walking up to order a bacon burger and fries, we got lunch served on a paper plate, like you would at a family BBQ or picnic grill. Seriously, it's no frills. Then, you head over to the condiment bar to get your own lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, onion, etc. Just like if you were at a family BBQ. Noticing a trend? Now, find a place to sit, but warning, it might be sticky!
On to the food: the burger was juicy, and had good flavor, but the bun was TERRIBLE. Grocery-store-white-bread-soggy-in-10-seconds, wait, the kind that you get at a family BBQ, bun. Toppings were acceptable, not exceptional. Fries were decent. You gotta eat pretty fast before the sandwich falls apart.
Pros: juicy burger.
Cons: bad bun.
Come here if you miss your family BBQ! And what is up with that food allergy warning?
