  • The hotel was nice, but they charge $22 a night to self-park and $25 a night to valet. I've never been to a hotel that doesn't include parking in the room rates so I thought this was odd. Also, we booked this hotel because it had a pool and the one day that we were there and wanted to go to the pool, it was closed. There was no mention of that on the website or anywhere in the hotel, otherwise we would have booked elsewhere for our girls weekend to celebrate 2 of our friends' birthdays. We tried to go out and were told that the pool was closed until Memorial Day weekend, which again I think should have been mentioned before we got to the door to go out to it. As far as the room, everything was nicely decorated. The shower only had a half door, which looks cool but isn't practical because it soaks the bathroom floor. The best part of the room was the mirror in the bathroom. Best lighting I've ever seen in a bathroom, putting on makeup was a dream! The hotel also offers a rooftop bar and a complimentary express lounge with snacks, coffee, and drinks but when we tried to go to the bar, it had closed up early with no notice and our keys wouldn't work to get us into the express lounge. Very disappointing. I feel like we would have definitely had a better experience elsewhere but it served its purpose as a place to sleep and get ready to go out. Not the worst place I've ever stayed by far, but has lots of room for improvement. We will definitely do more research next time we book
