  • My wife and I come to Las Vegas once or twice a year and we try to eat at a top notch steakhouse once each time. We had been looking forward to trying Gallagher's after reading some Yelp reviews and looking at menus. The service was very good. My wife had the Petite Filet with the Cauliflower Au Gratin. She said they were both very good. I had Clam Chowder and then their signature Dry Aged New York Steak with a special side of Mashed Potatoes with Cheese and Bacon. Everything was excellent except for my Steak. I could tell before I even took a bite that it was going to be chewy. I had to saw on it to cut it. This was a pretty big bummer for me because I look forward to eating steaks better than what I can cook at home. Some of the other steakhouses that we have been impressed with are Cut, Echo and Rig, and Delmonico. If you are going for the Best Steak, I would recommend Cut from what we have tried.
