  • Walking to Carmine's real treat we were friendly and politely greeted by staff members. Upon walking in and being seated we were asked if we need a highchair. When the high chair was delivered to us the seat fastner was broken. I brought it to the attention of the staff member seeing this and she promptly brought me out a another chair to replace the broken one. Unfortunately, the highchair that she brought me out was also broken and the seat strap unusable. When I brought to her attention she simply shrugged at me and said "I don't know" and walked away. So, not so good on the server-side. Aside from that mishap, the food was The food was good. We had the porterhouse which came to my delight covered in garlic and olive oil absolutely phenomenal. We also ordered the angel hair with oil and garlic and chicken Big mistake the chicken was dry as the Las Vegas desert we are surrounded by. When it comes to lasagna, I'm afraid the lasagna leaves much to be desired. It falls apart easily as you're cutting it and it's nearly impossible to serve without dropping back into the plate or onto the table. These things combined with the fact of the lasagna is very bland and has almost no original taste of it's own. It seems it inherently flavor from the sauce surrounding it. Both the Ricota filing and the meat sauce used to build the layers I'm afraid need a little more work.
