  • After much contemplating I decided to leave this review. I really super hate leaving bad reviews. I am leaving this review mostly with the hope that the owner will see this & make some changes. After being here for only 30 seconds I could sense the vibes were not in my favor, when I heard a customer say to the owner. "I will paint my own nails, remember last time you made them all bubbly." ( & she proceeded to paint her own nails) Why did I continue looking for a color?? I have no idea. I should've walked out after that comment. The owner told me you'll be at "chair 1" assuming I know where that is... finally one of the younger girls started the water then I knew the direction I should be heading. After sitting down & thinking to myself "its okay, it's just a rough start... maybe they will blow me away"... boy was I WRONG. So I am not kidding when I say this but I am wondering if this is slave driven labor. 2 little girls worked on my nails... & when I say little.. the ages are about 15ish... maybe. (So I doubt they were certified, shame on the owner) Although they were so young they did a great job which is why I am giving it two stars. Only complaint I have was the one that did my mani clipped too close to the cuticle causing me to bleed & it didn't feel that great having aceton on it. But once again I blame the owner (maybe mom??), if these girls were certified the technique would have been there & they could be even better. Also, a HUGE issue I had was the non-autoclaved instruments. They did not come out of a sterilized bag & the little girl dipped them in my dirty water to clean them off. (Ewww) These instruments are covered in bacteria & the only proper way of cleaning them is to sterilize them at a high heat. My mother has diabetes & then nail salon would be putting her at risk by using these instrument on her. (Something they should know if they are certified) I hope I do not get an infection because I will be taking a more serious approach, then just a bad yelp review. & I didn't like the fact that I didn't even feel relaxed because they were working on my mani & pedi at the same time, so I was all twisted & didn't get my awesome chair massage. They weren't even busy so idk why they felt the need to do both at the same time. I felt horrible for even staying... just because it seems unethical for these little girls to be working there & using dirty instruments. I really did not want to leave a bad review because the two girls that actually did the work did AWESOME. But SHAME on the owner for not properly sterilizing her instruments, having children who are not certified work on clients & talking on her phone loudly during my whole apt. To the owner I hope you read this & take some serious action. Your business depends on it.
