  • There's not alot about Cleveland that makes this Chicagoan envious, but the West Side Market is definitely one thing that does. Sure, there are better markets out there in remote parts of the world, but this market is still awesome. A good produce section, great candy sections, and meat. Man, if you're a vegetarian, this place is still ok, but if you're an omnivore, this place is amazing! Anyway, after visiting here once, I still find myself trying to make up reasons to visit Cleveland again just so I can go to this market. Chicago Mayor Daley's got his head twisted up thinking about Paris markets, but this is a perfectly fine example of how an American city can do a great public market. Strongly recommended!
