Certainly a very far cry from what it use to be in the mid 90's and early 2000's, it's once vibrant vibe has long since disappeared and now it remains a shell of it's former self. Gone is the once thriving bagel business on the ground floor and the array of interesting shops throughout the Mall have been reduced to but a few, this was once a destination who's destiny has spiraled in to decay. It is more a hangout for the homeless but so is the entire downtown area of Montreal, more so in recent years than ever before. However, should you chance a visit around noon time or early dinner the take out Thai restaurant on the top floor is amazing it is a draw because of it consistent high quality, sadly, I wish the owners of the mall would learn that lesson as Le Faubourg needs a good house cleaning.
