  • Exceptional coffee, nice atmosphere, and spectacularly friendly staff. Had read about this spot before our month in Montreal, just a few blocks away. The lattes we had were all made to perfection. The other coffees I saw being made, from espresso to pour-overs, were given equal attention. Good selection of pastries, and fantastic hot drinking chocolate, too...for those frigid and wet late-May days, in our case. Their front patio is often full on nice days, with a relaxed vibe remarkable for being a block off the busy intersection of St. Denis and Mont Royal. The minimalist décor keeps things simple and non-distracting. The staff, above all else, is the best - bilingual and forgiving of our subpar French, welcoming, and funny. Which proves that you don't need a lot of hoo-ha to create a warm space when there are personalities like the great female barista here!
