  • I LOVE Mexican and Tex-mex food, so I'm pretty critical about any restaurant in this category. I found the food lacking flavor. My burrito was a bit mushy on the inside, probably due to the fact they use a stewed chicken mix (some places call it chicken ranchero, chicken tinga, chicken reàl) rather than freshly grilled chicken. Salsa, although fresh, tasted like plain crushed tomatoes. The chips were over-salted, perhaps to make up for the salsa. I will say the service and hospitality was fantastic! They saw us approach with a baby carrier and opened the door for us. Also because they were not too busy, they offered us full table service rather than ordering at the counter, which was much appreciated. Not sure I'll return because of the food. Other options are much tastier....Moe's, Qdoba.
