  • Went there yesterday as my friend and my mother both told me about an advertised $30 mani/pedi package. I needed a pedi for a wedding this weekend, so I figured what the heck. The salon was very nice and clean, and very nicely decorated. The sign said walk-ins welcome and they did fit me in. That being said, the receptionist made me fell somewhat awkward for not having an appointment. Felt like I did something I shouldn't have and got my wrist slapped. Now on to the mani/pedi -- Seems like a bait and switch to me. You come in for the "classic" mani/pedi ($30) which is what they advertise and realize once you sit down this is little more than a color change. No time is spent on callouses, no sugar scrub, no leg massage -- isn't that what a pedicure is? Every other place I've had a pedicure at has included all of this. Of course, for $12 more dollars you can now upgrade to an actual mani/pedi package where they take care of these things. My tech was OK. Weird that they all wear these crappy tee shirts as a uniform though. All in all, I'd rather go to the Vietnamese place for the same price ($42) and get a much better pedi/mani.
