  • The food here is absolutely amazing. The menu is complex and well put together to include all of your fine dining staples. I tried the pappardelle, and it was the best I've had in Pittsburgh. It was definitely homemade and fresh. I also really enjoyed the ambiance here. The atmosphere is both rustic and contemporary, with a dimly lit dining room. The dining room and bar area are both warm and inviting. The only downside (and should not be a consideration when considering this restaurant ) is that this place gets very busy. If you go on the weekend, there is almost certainly going to be a wait. The bar seats are also difficult to score; however, there's a second bar upstairs, which usually has some open seats. The price is fair and commensurate with the quality of the dishes and the experience. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant.
