We have only been here for drinks, but I find it hard to believe there's a better place to go for a beer in Montreal. These guys brew all their own and they're all up on a chalkboard for you to choose from. We ordered in half pints so that we could try more kinds of beer and we were not disappointed by any of them.
All of the food that we saw come out of the kitchen looked good and we almost ordered a grilled cheese sandwich (and can we all just agree that grilled cheese sandwiches should be on the snack menu for every bar everywhere?) but decided against it since we were killing time here before our reservation at Au Pied de Cochon.
I tried and enjoyed: the Rosée d'hibiscus, Aphrodisiaque, Décibel, Libre échange, Solstice d'été aux prunes and the Voyageur des Brumes "Cask." Unexpectedly, my favourite was the Solstice d'été aux prunes - give it a try.
I'm certain that we'll be back for the beer and at some point we'll try the food. Unless you absolutely hate beer (and maybe even if you did - the place is pretty cool, they do have other drinks and, hey, there might be a beer for you) this would be my top recommendation for drinks in Montreal.
