  • I cant believe I waited so long to try this place. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you step through the door, its a pleasant surprise. The first thing I noticed was how happy all the customers were. This is one of those restaurants that make sure solo diners don't feel awkward. I was one of three people dining alone. My server Tonika was friendly and I took her suggestion of the half order of oxtails. I chose the blackeyed peas and collards as my sides. It was the perfect portion size for lunch. The food was delicious and I left feeling well fed and treated like family. I can't wait to come back and try the catfish!
