I stayed here with my 8 year old son for 5 nights and we loved it. We stayed in one of the white rooms (with the eyes on the wall) and thought it was really nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. We had a lovely view over to the strip from the 24th floor and then down to the pool. The room and bathroom were very clean, the beds & pillows were SO comfy that we struggled getting out of them! But that's the best part of The Palms - you really don't have to leave if you don't want to - they have everything on site that you need on a vacation. There were so many food options right downstairs and room service was reasonably priced and very generous serves.
One of the biggest assets this property has is its staff. We arrived on a night when President Obama was in town and all the freeways were closed so I was so anxious from all the traffic and the long trip beforehand and when I finally found the right entrance I was totally frazzled and the valet guy could not have been nicer or more accommodating. He didn't even hesitate for a second looking for a tip which I didn't even think about until the next day and then felt terrible for forgetting it. We got inside and the check in staff were very efficient, especially River who checked us in. He was so friendly & helpful and made the process really quick and easy so we could get straight up to our room. We even went to the movies here and it's close enough to The Strip without having to be surrounded by it.
I definitely recommend The Palms to any traveller. It's well priced and has everything you need.
