I'd be surprised they haven't been taken to court for price gouging and other unfair practices. It took us three weeks to get a replacement when our refrigerator broke down - just a month after we moved in. They charge a $40 "convenience fee" if you wish to pay by credit card (which violates both state and federal law). They require an increase of rent of at least $50 after the first year rented. They require you to use at penalty of fee to pay for utilities through a third party (Conservice) which charges a $10 monthly fee to use their services. That same company then overcharges for the utilities without ever showing you the bill. (For example, why is my electric bill $300 this month?) I am certain of this because I moved within the neighborhood to an AH4R house and my garbage bill jumped from $45 / quarter to $30 month.
The same home down the street (yes, it's a cookie-cutter neighborhood) rented from another company for about $200 less per month than what we're paying now. It should come as no surprise that an AH4R house has sat vacant just down the street for almost a year.
So please, do not rent from this company. You will not be treated fairly by their consistent, standard practices.
