The scent of the fresh baked bread and pastries could already be smelled before you opened the door to the warm and inviting shop.
The pastries were placed perfectly on white porcelain pedestals and they seemed to beckon: "Eat me, you know you want to."
The place in itself had a glow, and if you closed your eyes and inhaled deeply, you could feel yourself basking in it's warmth. This is the moment that you realize that despite all the atrocities that occur in life; this is worth living for.
This very moment when you are surrounded by nothing but beautiful, and delicious breads, pastries, and the hum of people also experiencing the same euphoria.
Take a moment to let it all soak in before having that first bite, in my case it was just a plain croissant and a creamy, but strong cappuccino. This is something you don't want to eat in a hurry, you want to take your time and savor it as much as possible. Tasting the layers of the
pillowy dough that's still warm from the oven, the sweet and saltiness from the butter all melding together to make your taste buds rejoice in glory.
Oh my Premiere Moisson! You'd be perfect if your signage weren't strictly only in French and it hadn't taken us 10 minutes to figure out the ordering system!
Je t'aime Premiere Moisson!
