  • i know you could screw up a falafal, sushi, rotis and well, every kind of food but can you really go wrong with ice cream? it's ice cream!! unless it's a melted mess, i don't think you can really say anything negative about it. ed's was a delight! my first time here and i almost re-created a moment from my childhood where i rode a far distance to get to this ice cream shop only to take one lick of my ice cream cone and have it topple over and roll under a bench but i'm a big kid now and i saved that sucker! for the price I paid, that scoop is going nowhere except in my stomach (man, have prices inflated for ice cream! back in the day, you could get a double scoop for $1.75. ok, that might be an exaggeration). anyway, i had the chocolate cheesecake and it was delicious! I got some coffee crisp bits in a little container to go with it (free!). I was hoping it would've had chunks in it like cookie dough ice cream but it's just a smooth creamy mix of chocolate and vanilla. I think I"ll try the gelato next time. so colourful, so pretty, so yummy looking!
