  • So I specifically go into this Barriques because I get a notification from their frequent buyer card that I can get a free cookie. Great, I think - I'll go here instead of another place - their promotion worked! I get coffee and request their gluten free cookie. No, says the staff, you can only use that for the regular cookies. So I verify - I can use this coupon for the cookie that is $2.65, but not the gluten free cookie that is $2.20, even though it though it says nothing about that on the coupon? Yep, they say. If you choose to have a special specifically geared toward getting customers who haven't visited back IN your store, why would you send them away? Because that is exactly what this did for me.
