  • i moved here about a year ago, and went to another salon based on my realtor's recommendation. it was not horrible, but not great. since i didnt know the area, i just put up with it or several months. then i was talking to another friend and complaining about my lack of fun hair. we were talking about where i could find a great colorist who could do fun color on asian hair. my friend works on the strip and said, well you could try that guy at the salon at caesars, he's supposed to be famous. i googled the salon and gave them a call. by chance, michael boychuck had an opening in just a few days so i booked it. i told them i wanted a cut too, and they said they would book me with someone good. i do not usually put my hair in the hands of someone i don't know and have not gotten a personal recommendation from, but figured what the heck. the salon is gorgeous, and the arrival of champagne with my greeting was a happy surprise. michael came out, and he turned out to be a very sweet and unassuming guy. we chatted as he did my hair, and i gave him licence to do whatever he wanted. he then turned me over to someone else to do my cut. as i was getting my cut, michael checked in on me several times and we chatted some more. he was so nice, and i knew i had found my guy when he said he has 5 dogs just like i do! i guess dog lovers just have an instant connection. since then i have been back several times. i've gotten my cuts done by a few different people, each at michael's recommendation, and all were great. the staff is all very nice, and in particular i adore one of michael's assistants named ann (or anne?). tip: if you go, don't mess with the busy valet in the front. there is a secret and special vip entrance on the side of the building, and if you have an appointment at the salon or spa, you can use that valet. those valet guys are amazing, i have only been there a handful of times, but they now remember my car and my name. its kind of a fun start and sets the stage to being pampered, movie star style :)
