  • Kingyo is a gem tucked away in cabbagetown. If you walk quickly you might miss it. Those who do visit however, will be rewarded with an authentic and fun Japanese izakaya. Food is great here, and I find prices to be ok for what it is. I would have given it 5 stars if it were situated closer to Yonge street, but then again, the prices would not be as good. Do check out the washroom downstairs for the functional pachinko machines (yes you can play them!)
