  • I sought out another opinion for some severe hip pain. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour, alone, there were zero patients there and then in the exam room for about 20 minutes before he came rushing in. He spent about 8 minutes with me, texting on his iPhone watch that was constantly beeping at him, and excused himself to take a call. He rushed back in and without asking for any films, records etc, simply stated I need a shot in my hip and to schedule that. I then sat in the waiting room for another 20 minutes until I poked my head out the door and asked if we could speed this along, that I had other appointments to get to that day. It was ridiculous. I've been dealing with crappy chronic pain for about 15 years, lived in several different states across the country over the years, and I do understand physicians get busy, I work for many myself. However, you are only as busy as your patient load is and I am here to help him lighten up his load so he might focus on his patients a bit better. His beside manner is terrible, his knowledge is questionable as I only spent about 10 minutes with him, so I honestly am unsure. His med assistant had to ask me what "T&A" meant under my list of surgeries. Most nurses and clinical staff should and would know that means "tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy". Yikes. Needless to say I will not be returning and would encourage you all to seek help elsewhere. This was a massive mistake and a clear waste of my time. But don't worry, they forgot to take my copay so are now coming after me for $50. Something tells me I should charge HIM for MY time I wasted there. Also turns out I need a hip replacement. It is possible given my younger age this wouldn't have been on his radar however it DOES occur. No shot would have ever helped this pain, period. Had this physician asked for films or even ordered new films he might have seen that. I sincerely feel like this guy is dangerous and doesn't care about his patients, or at least he didn't that day.
