| - A savior when it comes to buying "home goods" at a deal. Since moving to the Robinson area, I have found myself at this store multiple times at my wife's behest, to find furniture (accent chairs, coffee tables, daybeds), items for decoration (wall art, mirrors), rugs and the occasional kitchen accessories.
This is a sister store to Marshalls and TJ Maxx, which are also in the same area but more geared towards clothes (though they do have some home stuff at lower prices than HomeGoods but not a big selection).
At HomeGoods, you get what you see - so if you like something on display it is yours to purchase. Items are sometimes discounted due to dings, scratches but many times you simply find a steal. They will allow you to keep an item on hold (after paying for it) for a week to 10 days and are flexible on the time. You can always bring a truck or rent a UHaul from IKEA across the street to carry big items and the staff will help you load them if you need assistance.
They usually get new stock of furniture items, accents etc. mid week so Thursday is a good day to visit. I have found no issues in quality of products, helpfulness of staff or anything of that matter. My only disappointment is that they do not deliver (they will however give you the contact of a 3rd party delivery company, which you have to schedule yourself and can get expensive).
