| - I live right down the street and I probably wouldn't have thought to shop here, but my roommate came home with some nifty things from here so I thought I'd give it a try. I think I'm officially addicted to thrifting now. Sometimes I walk out of here with 2 things, sometimes 10 ... They often add new things to the floor, and like most thrift stores it's a hit or miss (usually a hit; rarely a miss for me). The employees and volunteers are very friendly! They are always so helpful, and they always wrap the fragile things in newspaper. I'm so glad they take the time to do that. And they use recycled bags which is awesome. I love how their always having deals, like the 50% off days and $1 clothing days.
My roommate makes fun of me for my love of kitchen gadgets, and I've found most of mine here! Already bought several coffee mugs, cups, plates, a steamer and a quasadila maker (I know, how random, but it makes a scrumptious quasadila). I'm not much of a reader but they have a pretty good book collection as well. As a joke I bought Sarah Palin's book to keep in my bathroom.
It has a pretty big clothes collection. You can find some cute things if you look but I don't really come here for the clothes.
All in all, great store! I wanted to keep it a secret because I'm only human and thrifting can be cut-throat, haha. But this place deserves some recognition for being awesome so I'll swallow my pride on this one. :)
