  • This place is legit. I have been to many of the Thai places around Tempe, Mesa and Phoenix but this is about as good as I've tasted here. I had the Fried Rice and Pad Thai on my initial visit and was impressed with both the taste AND the portion size. Despite my slim frame I can pack down the calories and usually don't bring leftovers home in boxes. I did here and it reminded me of a WONDERFUL place in Denver (Golden Saigon) that I haven't found an equivalent yet. I will be going again and will try some of the other offerings but I was pleased with my meal and the price was affordable. Now I've been in AZ for most of my life but I did live in New Orleans for 4 years so "ghetto" is an overused and should be relative term for people here. Is the outward appearance impressive? No. But was I concerned for my safety in it's unassuming strip mall? Hardly. Inside the seating is comfortable and the ambiance appropriate. Is this Snooze? Heavens no and people that are looking for that type of atmosphere seem to like to take pictures of their food more than really expand their palette IMHO. If you've been to any legit Asian food restaurant in other cities they are much worse than this place and comparatively they have a good amount of space for the outward appearance. I would highly recommend folks check this place out
