  • Great, my monthly bill just went up. I love paying for channels that "skip," "scramble" or just go blank. Magically, one cable jack went out in my apartment. It's the jack my modem is connected to. Talked to 2 technicians on the phone, didn't work. A tech came out the next day and he was really good. He ran a check on the line and got it fixed. Looks like for some reason, someone unhooked the wrong line. I don't have phone service, thank goodness. I'm thinking if keeping internet only and use July and Netflix only. I reboot my cable box way too much and most of the time it doesn't fix the channels pausing and scrambling. I can't keep paying $160 for cable and internet with only basic cable and no DVR.
