I enjoy buffets but I don't go as often as I used to because I just don't eat that much comfortably any more. And at $29 for lunch I feel I need to eat a certain amount to make it pay. One of the ways around that is to try and eat at buffets where the food is bumped up a notch or two. I had heard for several years that this was on of the buffets I really had to try.
I got there just after one and the line was pretty short but that did not equate to getting seated quick as there were several large family groups ahead of me. When I was seated I was clocked in on my receipt and warned I would be tossed after 2 hours, I was stuffed and gone well before then. :) I had a salad plate, two entree plates and a small desert selection. I did not find anything I felt like not finishing. The staff kept my plates cleared and iced tea filled. The only thing I didn't like and had no choice in the matter was seating because they were packed, as I suspected the booth seating along the wall was soft and uncomfortable but the option was to sit on the chair sit and stare at the wall.
