I enjoy coming to this store to browse and see what new offerings there are. However, after the last visit I makes me question some of the staff that they hire. Do they understand what customer service is? Because it is definitely not mumbling things under their breath in front of a buying customer. OR is it being rude to them over a unsigned SPC card. It was a very rude experience that ticked me off. It was absolutely uncalled for, only because I questioned her?
I was cashing out and I gave her my SPC card and she gave it back to me with a pen asking me to sign it, in which I asked "Why?" I did not see it as a big deal, and I have been using my card for all over the year and also at this UO location before - was always taken with no questions asked. She then replied "We only take signed cards" Okay I'm starting to sense a mild case of power tripping. Alright I'll sign it. As I sign the card, I can hear her mumble loud enough and intentionally for me to hear "I don't understand how hard it is to sign a card" in a very rude tone. Note that she is still in front of me blatantly mumbling this. So the fact that I didn't sign my card means that it is okay for your sales associate to be rude to a buying customer over something so small? It is baffling how this sales associate is still working there or even has a job in customer service because I can say she knows absolutely no peoples skills whatsoever. Better start some training workshops to teach your workers how to know when and where it is appropriate to say things. Or just teach them to keep their mouth shut in front of a customer when you have a rude comment to make.
Not impressed.
